Freedom of Information & Publication Scheme

The Model Publication Scheme and new Information Guide was adopted by Bretherton Parish Council in November 2008. 

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Parish Councils are required to adopt and maintain a publication scheme.  The scheme provides the public with a structured listing of any information available and how it can be accessed. 

The Scheme also sets out how the Parish Council intends to charge for providing the information.

The Publication Scheme will be undated over the forthcoming months, following the introduction of the Parish Council's website and the accessibility of information being available via this communiction tool.
